Chief Justice Marc Edelman
Hon. Marc Edelman is a full-time professor at Rutgers School of Law, where he writes in the areas
of sports law, property, contracts and antitrust.
A pioneer in the field of fantasy sports dispute resolution, Professor Edelman has been playing fantasy sports since 1989, and resolving fantasy
sports disputes professionally since 2001. Professor Edelman is a graduate of Michigan Law School and a former associate with the firms Skadden,
Arps, Slate, Meagher Flom LLP and Dewey Ballantine LLP.
Senior Deputy Justice Matthew Cohen
Hon. Matthew E. Cohen is a graduate of Hofstra Law School where he was a member of Hofstra's Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He was first appointed
to the SportsJudge Court of Fantasy Sports in February 2007. Mr. Cohen has played in competitive fantasy sports since 1998 and has been commissioner
of his fantasy baseball and fantasy football leagues since 2001. In addition to serving as a member of the SportsJudge Court, Mr. Cohen is responsible
for authoring the "Where Are They Now" column on SportsJudge Blog and maintaining the docket of our court's past rulings.
Deputy Justice Joseph Romano
Hon. Joseph C. Romano is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a member of the Duquesne Law Review and the Sports and
Entertainment Law Society. Mr. Romano has over ten years of experience running fantasy sports leagues, and is amongst the court's experts in the areas
of baseball, football and hockey. He also has played competitive ice hockey for nearly 20 years and serves as an Assistant Coach at Shady Side Academy
in Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to his role as a Deputy Justice, Mr. Romano is the Chief Operating Officer of SportsJudge.com and Editor-in-Chief of SportsJudge Blog.
